Charleston's newest "Lowcountry" community Daniel Island is located three miles north of Charleston Harbor between the Cooper and Wando rivers. The Island lies at the easternmost tip of Berkeley County and is in the City of Charleston.

Daniel Island is a 4,000-acre master-planned community that includes nearly 7,000 homes, more than 400 acres of parks, two championship golf courses, a $9 million world-class tennis center, its own schools and other amenities. Real estate options consist of condominiums, single-family homes, estate properties, and land for custom building. The community features traditional neighborhoods with sidewalks and street lamps. Some of the neighborhoods have their own amenities such as pools and playgrounds or may even be gated.

Single-family homes in Daniel Island are generally priced starting from $215,000 for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house to upwards of $5 million for estate properties, many which feature deep water access to the Cooper and Wando rivers leading to Charleston Harbor. Daniel Island also features plenty of listings for condos and townhomes starting from the low $100,000s for a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo to upwards of $1 million for a 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom luxury condominium with deepwater dockage access. Land parcels are also available for purchase in Daniel Island for real estate developers that are interested in custom building homes. Prices start at $145,000.
